If you need a way to easily get guests engaged, the scavenger hunt is the perfect game. The concept of this game is quite simple. The host will have a list of baby items that the parents will need and guest will have to find items in their home to do the job.

Yep! Guests will actually have to get up and move with this game. It’ll make for an excited, interactive, and competitive game.

For example, the baby will need a bottle. The first five guests who are able to find a bottle and come back on camera with it make it to the next round. Each round has a new item and elimination until there is one winner.

To make things simple, you can award a winner for each item. If there is a tie, do a tie-breaker with another item.

Guessing Game

If the parents haven’t revealed the gender or baby’s name, a guessing game would make things fun. Guests can submit their vote for the baby’s gender and try to guess the baby’s name.

Another variation of this game is to have the mom answer a list of baby-related questions beforehand that the guests have to guess the answer to.

Some examples of questions include:

• What did you crave the most?
• How much do you think the baby will weigh?
• Who do you think the baby will look like?
• Do you think the baby will come on his/her due date or later?

The person who can guess the most correct answers will win the game.

Again, to avoid any kind of cheating, all guests should write their answers down and display them on camera at once.

You can’t have a game without prizes. But, much like the games, you’ll have to get creative. You don’t want to have to mail off gifts, so consider these options instead.

Cash prizes

Make things simple by giving cash prizes. When you have a winner, simply have them privately message the host their Cashapp, Zelle, Venmo, or even Paypal information and you can send the money right off! It’s quick and easy and I’m sure your guests will appreciate it.

If you still would like to award a physical gift, consider a gift basket that can be shipped to their home. Amazon has some affordable options for spa gift baskets and more.

Again, you’ll need to collect the winner’s information so that you can have it shipped to the correct location. Once you have the address, you can simply change your ship-to address during checkout on Amazon.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime already, you can sign up for their free trial just in time for the shower. This will allow the winner to get their prize the next day or two!

Make sure you email the 3 game cards to your Guests when you invite them to your Shower. Ask them to print out the 3 cards so they are ready for the games you will play!

Once your virtual Baby Shower is up and running and your guests have all “arrived”, you can start with some games.

I always like to play Find the Guest first, followed by Baby Bingo, then Who Knows Mommy Best.

Find the Guest

First, choose one person to be the question asker. She should ask the questions on the card to the rest of the group. Each guest takes turns to answer. Fill in the answers on your own card.

Baby Bingo

Hopefully, your Baby Shower gifts have been delivered to your house so that you can open them in front of your guests.

Before you do, ask each guest to fill in their bingo card withgifts they think you will receive. For example, blanket, baby towel, onesiesetc.

Then, open your gifts one by one. Guests can mark off their bingo guesses and the first to get 5 in a row wins. I think this is a really lovely game to play as it also means guests get to see you open all of your gifts and can see your delight when you open theirs. You also get to thank them in person.

Who Knows Mommy Best

Choose one person to read out the questions on the card. Each guest writes down her answers on her card. Next, the Mama to Be reads out the actual answers while guests mark their cards. The winner is the Guest with the most correct answers.

What about Food and Drink?

Of course, you can’t actually serve your guests with any refreshments at a virtual Baby Shower (except to yourself!).

However, you can request that they all join the party with theirown refreshments to add to the party feel.

Free Virtual Baby Shower Bingo Cards

For example, a tea party theme would work well by asking your guests to join with a cup and tea and slice of cake. You could even go one step further and order cupcakes from a local bakery to be delivered to your guests houses. You can then eat them altogether during the party.

How about decorations?

Just because your guests aren’t actually arriving at your house, doesn’t mean you don’t have to decorate if you want to!
